I got my first borzoi from a small breeder in 1988, and Kira was soon followed by a second female, Goldie, from Corrine Miller of Firebird Borzoi. Neither of the girls liked to course or show, so they were just pampered pets. After many years without borzoi, in 2003 I got back in touch with Corrine and soon was the proud owner of an adorable red puppy named Vaska, now Int'l/Am Ch. Firebird Juls On The Run, JC, CGC. From there the pack has grown, and now I'd never be without my canine companions. They're my pets first and everything else second, but I'm extremely proud of everything they've accomplished.
